So far US has been able to strategically arrive at a 'Heads I win, Tails you lose'. But now the risks to India are far too high. It would be now win-win or lose-lose situation only.
It is most unlikely that Indian leadership led by Mr. Singh will compromise its intellectual integrity by letting down those lawyers and Muslim League who root for restoring their guardians of Constitution who were sumarily swept aside. It sure would be his utmost priority and his patience need not be construed as weakness by Occidental minds.
