Why Conversion happens
by rashmi sahu on Dec 27, 2007 03:40 PM

Hungary man has no religion. Thats what vedas and upnishad says. Once mans primary needs food, clothing, shelter, education is met then only he can think of God. In ancient India people were looked after by Kings. As in Vedas Almighty God has told Kings/rulers to look after its subjects like its own children. However with destruction of vedic culture posr mahabharat, advent of Islam, invasion by other countieries and subsequently loss of gurukul system, this approach got over. Britishers and Christian missionaries has manipulated lot texts esp shastras for there benefit. In the modern times it is theduty of government to look after poor and provide them education and with other facilities. However in independent india this is not happening. The money donated to all the temples is usurped by hungry Government on the name of secularism. This is not happening with churches, mosques etc. On the name of secularism this money is not used for the cause for which people have donated it. Not even 10 percent amount is used for charity of poor hindus, and development of other facilities.
This land has already been tolerant for a long time to other religion. This tolerance to other religious belief has been taken as a sign of weakness or cowardice of Hindus. Now people have started understanding things. Further it is fuelled by the number game of Islam and Christianity where the main name is conversion not spiritual emancipation of a soul i.e conquest.
