Such statement is usually thrown by all those who sympathize with fascism coming out of Hindutva forces. Saying, Dont they do it?, Doesnt Pakistan do it?, Dont Muslims do it? are just mere excuses to carry on and legitimize their own bigoted feelings and sympathies.
