RE:Why Modi appeals to Hindus?
by Gauzbig Sauntel on Dec 26, 2007 04:59 AM

Hi Hooter

It is easy to avoid responsibility talking about 'detail' is one such example. If the 'detail' is as you think ( I am not going to argue over that) the perpetrators should have been booked that is the role of those entrusted with maintaining law and order. Fanning criminal counter acts and refusing to bring justice to those violated is certainly no civilized answer.

How is it fair to attack innocents and send them to refugee camps and have no action 6 years later?

I am not ashamed to be a Hindu. I believe there is a future only if all Hindus dont 'think' like B Raman.

I am ashamed when human rights are blatantly violated and a CM on oath to protect the constitution of India and all the citizens subverts it through a 'Maut ke Saudagaron' administration.

Hiding behind questionable and non-egalitarian 'development' rather than showing moral courage that is the hallmark of the Indian politician (we are seeing it in Mumbai, Bahgalpur, Delhi and Gujarat). The difference is that politicians who have played with fire have paid a price.

I do sincerely hope that Mr Modi, and his supporters will see that injustice perpetrated will never bring long term solutions and even at this stage let justice for all be the guiding star of thier Raj dharma ( development is secondary)

I also sincerely hope that by sowing and encouraging the winds of fury and injustice, Hindutva does not bring us all to the brink and from where there is no pulling back.
