people of Gujarat and Modi are not the same thing. Elections come and go, and emotional issues rule during elections.

People of Gujarat are good, hardworking, honest, and tolerent. They will eventually defeat the violent, sectarian idology of Modi.

What you wrote about appied to Gujarat, and not to Modi.
