This victory of Modi is actually very important. There were so many factors against Modi viz: 1) The entire Media blitzkrieg. 2) Unnecessary revival of the 2002 riots by all the pseuod-secularists. 3) Joint fighting of all the opposition parties of Gujarat. 4) Dissidence within the BJP and the dissidents' unscrouplessness in joining the Congress and fighting the BJP from within over a period of time. 5) The belligerance of ex-BJP leaders like Uma Bharathi. 6) The withdrawal of support by the RSS. 7) Anti-incumbency.
And yet Modi has won. Now the media and the Congress say that the entire Gujarat was polarised. Lame excuses these!
