atul bhai, Firdaus is a Syed and Ashraf too...Syeds are decendents of mohammad...through his daughter Fatima who was married to her uncle-Ali. Ali and Fatima had two sons,One of the son had married upteen times and also had more than 300 sex slaves ...Their children from Hassan and his multiple partners called themselves 'syeds' or the 'pure ones'from the family of mohammad...and their decendents continued to call themselves syeds. Ashraf is the term used by muslim to denote a muslim who were amongst the first to convert to islam...there an ashraf is not a local convert. So bhai, you get the drift, he is not from amongst us.
