I agree with this logic of yours. Peaceful coexistence needs to be a reality and that need not come at the cost of subjugation of any one person's civil liberties or by politics of exclusion-which also means no reservations and preferrential treatment. This had been a trend in states ruled by Congress till regional parties as TDP came up in AP. Root causes of riots are economic which are painted religious by self serving individuals. What happened in Gujarat way back at Godhra and its aftermath does not add to our pride but what Mr.Modi has achieved in the subsequent years is a testimonial of a mature leader determined to make progress a reality cutting across divisions in society. For the sheer task of ensuring a peaceful climate for growth and enabling the same, CM Modi needs to be lauded. This is certainly more than what certain other CMs in the country can boast of. Can a single Congress chief minister muster up a record to parallel the achievements of Gujarat in the least five years?
