I appreciate your effort to convince people not to be anti-Islam. But how much you can do?
Today If rediff readers understand something about Islam, then tommorow they will find horrible killing of innocents by muslims in media. Again the rediff readers will develope anti-Islam feelings.
If there are five people like you in Islam, then there are thousand in Islam who want to kill non-muslims. The ratio is very poor.
So better convince your own muslim brothers about peace.
