The outburst of Modi was a response to Sonia Gandhi's labelling him as a Merchant of Death. 3. In fact, the punishment or admonishment to Sonia Gandhi must be of a higher order as it was she who tried to inject the communal element into the debate first, by her uncalled outburst. 4. This pusillanimity of EC shows it in poor light.
