Taslima's dilemma is of her own doing. She took short cut through literature to hog the lime light. There was nothing wrong in it but then she took dig at the very religion that has given her beautiful name and parents through whom she was born. For reasons known to her she chose to champion the cause of the people she held them dear. Not that she loves them but because she wanted to use them to come to fame. Having done damage to the religious sentiments of the very religion in which she was born, she started enjoying the hospitality of the forces that are inimical to Islam. That forces already on a witch hunt against muslims, she joined them to strengthen their hands. These BJPs and Safron Brigade found in her a weapon to defame the muslims. This is what she has done monumental mistake. Naturally she received brickbats from the muslim supporters and could not stay in India for longer with such unsavoury remarks against muslim and Islam. She had to retract and cancell objectionable passages from her memoirs. It was too late for her. She repented now when she found her life tough and hard to live. She has finally came to terms with the reality. But then she became unwanted to the very persons who gave her refuge. Seeing her as a liability even the Safron Brigade disbanded her after a couple of days of hospitality at Rajastan Bhavan. Even the West Bengal Government is trying wash its hands off her, as she became too hot to handle following opposition from Muslims.
