Thanks is due to the Govt Of India for issuance of the vissa to Ms. Taslima. If she is allowed in India, why not in Kolkata. Safety and security is the duty of the state.
A religion, which had a glorious past, reduced it a most conservative one by passage of time. This made a part of its believers mentally and physically sick. Progressive believers of any religion did not bother about what is said against his religion or belief. Welfare state has the mechanism to control such crimes. Here in India we are witnessing unruly behaviour of the mob guided by some mean minded political figour with some short term gain.
Media is also doing business with theses stories.
Religion is once required for maintaining a discipline in the society for its smooth development. In the changed scenario Law of the welfare state can take the place of the religion. Hope, Pen shall take the place of sword.
