Some times I do think why we, including me, dont give enough of thought to the ones who were burnt alive in Sabarmati express. It is a heinous crime. Crime against humanity. I partially agree with this thought. See sabarmati incident was due to terrorist one way or the other way. You just think of the shameful treatment meted out to our muslim innocent women. Leave the extent of murders of men. There is always a clear shade of difference between terrorist sponsored terrorism and state sponsored terrorism. We are up here, very much available, to kill the miscreants. But what about the empire which commits organised killing?. In a specific case which you cited on the fate of Afsal, I do agree with you that he be hanged. But again do you think that Congress wanted to save the life of terrorist, because he is a muslim. It is no. The concept of capital punishment is a subject of debate nowadays, though I dont believe in this. I have read Indian constitution some long back.
