USA cannot be trusted as past experience. both democrats and republicans never supported India but always equated India with Pakistan. there is no guaranttee it will meet with all the assertions. only commercial interests are of prime importance to it. the deal should be renegoiated so that india has options for any peaceful explosions for research and developement. manmohan singh was over confident and would have signed on the dotted line but for the staunch opposition by his coalition partner.
