this is a thought provoking article. Do not misinterpret the line "Westerners focus on moral absolutes" as saying that the Westerners do the "right" thing all the time. What it actually means is that the West does have a tendency to have a yes or no answer to everything: abortion is either OK right upto birth, or they will even ban contraception! Either you allow blacks to say whatever they want or you turn them into slaves. This is the kind of attitude the West has. Either you legalize cocaine and prostitution (Holland) or you write "In God we trust" right on the currency (USA). In contrast, Indians have a more pragmatic attitude and they understand that things have some natural boundaries and these boundaries, much like those of continents shift slowly over time.
