The authors history is weak.After Shivaji marathas had many leaders before Mr.Yashwantrao Chavan.Shivaji's Son Sambhaji,The great Warrior - Mahadaji Shjindeof Scindia Dynasty Gwalior,Sayajirao Gaikwad of Vadodra and reformist Maratha King Shahu Maharaj who was from Shivji Maharaj family and ruled Kolhapur seat.
Also one can not compare Shivajiand Yahswantrao Chavan or Mr.Pawar as Shivaji created and founded the Maratha power in stiff opposition of Mughal and other powers,which went on to rule nearly 2/3 rd of today's india and also some time Part of Sindh;while Mr.Chavan and Mr.Pawar are political leaders.
