Very few leaders in the world have the guts to invite foreign observers to oversee the most controversial elections in their country. But President Mush has demonstrated his sincerety not only in lifting the emergency but also in conducting free and fair elections in Pakistan and he has also invited the world observers to oversee the impartiality of the elections. I was one of the many who critised President Mush so strongly for his actions. But he made us to eat humble pie through these pronouncements. He is a true gentleman in today's politics. It is now upto the political parties to conduct themselves peacefully for the restoration of democracy and those threatened to boycott the polls is highly regrettable. Gen. Kiyani, though close to the President, is very closely watching the development. He cannot be trusted upon as he is the poster boy of US who handpicked him for the job. All said and done, it is now obvious that the elections are going to be held in Pakistan finally and results will prove which side the peoples vote will go. President Mush has did one remarkable thing in confirming the sacking of the former Chief Justice who overstepped his position due to the popular support he got from the public at large. But then power that be always matters in such situations, and he was finnaly shown the door. It is better for the judiciary to be within their bounds and never to run the country which is the established job of the executive. This has been made clear by Mush.
