M K Gandhi
by Rajagopal Harihara on Dec 17, 2007 06:37 PM

We all adored Gandhi for all he did for makinbg the British decide on India's Independence.
It may be argued that the British could not hold on to this country after the terrible Word War II.
But he also did many stupid things like, proposing Jawahar Lal's name as PM when Vallbhai Patel had overwhelming Majority suppot in the CWC. The reason was that
he was so conscious of his name as Mahatma being tarnished by proposing a Gujarathi as the first PM of this Country. He knew very well that Patel was the right man. That was the first great blunder even before we got Independence.
He made India give away 55 croses to Pakistan even though thousands were dying of Hunger in this country at that time.
He gave the name of Gandhi to Feroz, Indira's husband. This stupidity is still ruling and ruining our country.
So the saying " Great people do great many blunders" M K Gandhi is no exception.
