You understood it much late. This is what is happening in our country. In fact, even the tickets are distributed on that basis. The whole country is divided in to Muslim, Hindu, Christian constituencies and if it is a Hindu constituency, then it is further divided in to sub-constituencies for example in Haryana it is jat, ahir, brahmin, baniya etc.
