NOT ''Western'' inspired
by Anshu S on Dec 11, 2007 10:02 PM

For all of you out here who are going to say it is western inspired -
- In every case in the "West", school shootings have been because the child has been neglected and they wanted to get noticed, it was a cry for help. They shot innocents and finally killed themselves
- This is a very Indian as some other poster said "aukaad" thing, with kids given more attention and liberty than was due to them. It was a ego thing that they wanted to settle.

Things like this have been happening for 100s of years in India, we dont need any western support. When Salman Khan shot the black bucks or when the BMW ran over the people, it was not western inspired, it was based in the confidence that you could do what you want and get away with it.
It is based on the Raja-Praja mentality in India where one class of people thinks they rule over the other and that they can get away with anything. They want their kids to inherit their rights and they are pampered and brought up like princes.
I cannot see any western influence to it, other than the fact that it involved a gun and a 14 year old, which has no correlation really.
