It has become a fashion among parties opposing the BJP to label it as 'communal', day in and day out. Actually, the parties which are labelling the BJP as 'communal' are the worst communalists. A secular party has to treat all religions, repeat all religions, equally and not decry only one community all the time. This applies as much to the Congress, Left and others opposing the BJP, as it does the BJP. Will this avoidable mud-slinging ever end? What people need are decent standards of living and not unwanted, and useless rhetorics.
