RE:RE:Its sad!!
by ashwani arora on Dec 07, 2007 08:52 PM

Yes,it is sad because, we have not progressed to a level that we can imagine a society which is free from clutches of fanatic communal forces. It is not Hindus who fell prey to fundamentalism. They need to maintain their identity as a community, civilisation. They believe in personal salvation and mostly community feeling is very poor.As a consequence-hard core forces of other communities have been dominating, governing -as History speaks for itself. So primary requirement is -need for getting united,secular-so that power hungry, fundamentalist forces or anti Hindu forces do not dare to harm or cause to harm India. Most studies have indicated that whenever and whereever Hindu was weak,in minority, territory was taken away or seperatist forces raised their head.Examples are many-Kashmir, North East.
Development is a consequence of peace and harmony.
Your apprehension that being emotional on religious issues will drive us back is absolutely meaningful.But-first requirement is to ensure a Mighty System which is not fragile or prone to invasions within or from outside.
Interesting enough-most pragmatics think the same as you do, But see the plight to day-No Hindu Nation in the World today except Nepal. That too is on verge of break.Let us understand, all countries are either Christian or Islamic but Hindu Nation is Secular.Hindus are primarily development oriented,so do not mind which religion State is governed by.
Therefore it is vital to understand need for building this Nation.
