Previously, like many others I used to think that Modi is a Hindu Fundamentalist. But after reading this article, which includes a letter from an RSS worker with 'insider' information about RSS machinations and how Modi has thwarted their attempts, my respect for him has grown. I feel he is more a pragmatist and while he uses rhetorics to garner vote/support, his main interest is to improve the adminstration and provide development to his state.
