1984 was a blot in the name of Congress - they have tried to make amends and justice cannot be done till the culprits are hanged. Unfortunately - most of the culprits are just dying of old age before they could be brought to justice.
Modi similarly will have to live with stigma of Gujarat. He can remain the badshah of Gujarat but that is where he will remain because the sword is always hanging over him to survive at national level.
