Cinema was never a stepping stone to politics in Kerala or Karnataka,it happens only in AP & Tamilnadu.So please don't generalise this statement saying that it happens in South India. And moreover,it's not just South India ,even Bollywood actors had stints in Politics like Big B,Vinod Khanna,Shatrughan Sinha,Govinda,Hema malini & Jaya prada.
