It is not only tamils who migrated most of the indians do this for their livelihood because of the politicians and rulers for centuries. You can find a large number of gujaratis and Andhrites in USA. Abhudhabi has nearly 30% of malayalee population. Can you say any one state or region where the people have not migrated either to other states or within their own state. Migration happens throughout the world because of population and poverty. Once a community gets settled they will try to bring other people of their community who are suffering for money. It is human nature. In Delhi, there are lot of jats, biharis, singhs. Did they all come in a single lot. No it is continuous process. Bombay has all types of peoples in it migrated and still migrating. Bangalore has tamils, telugus, malayalees, jains, and other kannada people from other cities of karnataka. Calcutta has mix of indians and bangladeshis. Chennai has tamils,telugus, malayalees, kannadigas, lot of north indians. Migration cannot be stopped and it will continue as long as earth lives.
