The Sikh riots were more gruesome than the Guj riots..The victims in the Anti-Sikh riots were from a single community of Sikhs opposed to Gujarat where the victims were from two communities. So I dont see any kind of justification when people selectively crucify Modi..Its the worst kind of pseudo-secular journalism...Now we can either live in the past or move on...The people of Guj (both Hindus and Muslims) have moved on. The riots have not been made an election issue...So there is no question of polarising the society... We need leaders like Modi because he stands by whatever he believes in and take on the world whenever needed..He is honest and not corrupt..He is development oriented..We cannot ignore the fact that today Gujarat is flourishing. It stands fourth among the states that contribute most to the national GDP.. Gujarat has become one of the most attractive destinations for foreign investment in India and is in its path of providing education to everybody in the state. Rajiv Gandhi foundation has declared Gujarat to be the best administered state in India. I have read in IndiaToday magazine also, in one of its edition declaring NAMO as the most efficient Chief Minister based on quite a number of parameters. All these things became possible only because he was successful in giving clean, strong, effective and progressive governance over last five years.
