the quran
by bowler on Dec 03, 2007 06:16 PM

the holy quran was a book written in the best of intentions which were relevant at that time as it is today.
the muslim women have been given a good status from where they where if you can read through the history and find out the time during which quran was written.
One of the concerns expressed by many is the rigidity of this religion and its intolerance. obvoisly the same has been showered on it by the others .But that makes two of them.
Again, one has to understand that this is only the small minority on both sides. The only problem lies when branding of people occurs.
If one were to study deeply , the quran has so much of common things to say that the other religios books also do.
the rights of the muslim women is something that the quran endorsed and the step taken in pakistan is definitely in the right direction . About the ones who have hatred.. let god bless them too...for they arent able to see beyond the curtain of hatred.
