In every party there are rebels. There is no party in the country which doesnt have any rebel. These rebels born out of frustration that they are not taken care of adequately, they are not given power, they are not allowed to make money, etc, etc.
I think the voters should look the party in such cases, and not the disgrunted individuals. Once they realize their worth, when out of the party fold, then they either come back, or go to some other party. They make all these claims, advertisements, etc during election time, thinking that the party may be afraid to touch them at this stage. However I wish the parties deal with the dissidents with an iron hand, so that party discipline is maintained at all times.
BJP in Gujrat has done a reasonably good work during their regime, it fared much better than other Govts in the country in terms of development, communal harmony (no riots worth mentionng has taken place), less of terrorism, etc. Therefore the people appear to be happy with BJP in Gujrat. With best wishes, Srinivasan.
