I dont know where you live and what are the conditions out there, but urbans have already moved away from this mentality. I've my friend right here in US who's parents arrived recently from India and his father has called for students anyone who is interested in learning Veda.
Anyway I dont think you are yet getting the real point abt Brahminical concept.
