Concessions for minorities
by Shridhar Iyer on Aug 31, 2007 01:46 PM

Within Hindus in general, Brahmins are a very minority people. We will have lot of economically poor brahmins, who are good in education with good scores. They may be unable to go for further education because of poor economic conditions. Like they are helping minority muslims, the Govt should seriously consider helping economically poor, but meritorious Brahmins, by extending them a helping hand for higher education, employment, etc. If this is ensured these people are capable of contributing a great to the country.
All well meaning people should impress upon the Govt to think on these lines.

With best wishes,

Srinivasan.
