South India has shown remarkable progress. Tamil Nadu is racing ahead of Pune as a Automobile hub. ( This is one example of power requirement). Karnataka / AP/TN/Kerala has ever growing power requirement. Hydro Electric potential in these areas is more or less utilised. These areas are far away from COAL PITS.
Gas from KG Basin is needed for fertiliser plants also.
What route these Commies suggest to generate power. >>> This is my question.
Wind and Solar can not give that much what we need. ( They are good for small pockets / Villages / in accessible areas)
