That is just a perception with all the media coverage these days and it's so easy to get misled. What is US doing in Iraq..is that legitimate ? If not they why not call all Christians terrorist? That won't be right isn't it ? B'cas it's the politics involved which is doing it and the same was true in the other case Islamist Terrorist.
Tell me what happened in Afghanistan when the soviets attacked it? What was their (Afghanistans) fault in it and the US came to their "help"...mind u not to help but just to keep the soviets from invading Afghanistan and thus not letting them have a base near India. And it was US who brought up Osama to fight agains the Soviets and once the soviets were defeated the US left Afghanistan to rot for more than 25yrs. And u know what happens to a country (or even a family or an analogy) which is left in such a state. Was US not to be blamed for this...if they had in bringing them up again who knows Afghanistan would have been their best ally now instead of the other way round.
What's happened in India is also the same...all the political leaders r using the muslims to their advantage...some like congress by appeasing them and others like BJP by raising the Hinduism pitch. What happened after Ayodhya and then in Gujrat ? Was all that legitimate ? Should those politicians not be held accountable ? But what's happend...nothing and that's what drives some of them in the muslim community to go astray. I don't blame them it could happen to any community
