And that was the right thing to do? What makes you so sure that it was not something that someone from Pakistan initiated?
Your truth is India. Your mother and your identity. Uphold India and don't divide it on the basis of narrow domestic walls such as religion. All religions today have to take the blame that they created these walls. The whole concept of that "they are muslims and we are hindus" is so pathetic. Why did both these religions fight for independence together then?
The british did a perfect job of dividing India on the basis of religion. But are we so stupid that we give fuel to that fire even today? Maybe Pakistan is wrong. But if we don't do what is right, then what does that make us?
The muslims living in India are INDIANS. Treat them as equals because in times to come you will hold hands with them and will be collectively called INDIA.
