My heart goes to this father. If Indian security agencies do not have proof against Zahid then why don%u2019t they release him? Seems like the arrest of his brother without evidence turned this Said against the system. If my brother was arrested for no reason, was as young as 19 didn%u2019t have money to fight the system and had people tell me that violence was the only solution then I would have listened. India should take steps to correct the fundamental flaws in the system which is Muslims not getting enough economic opportunities because they do not have the money to educate themselves and the Indian attitude of stamping on the weaklings, whichever caste or religion they are from. We can try to fight the symptoms all we want which is have exceptional intelligence inputs, strike at Pakistan/ Bangladesh terrorist camps, do well to catch terrorists but as long as you don%u2019t tackle the above mentioned fundamental issue we will just be cleaning the tentacles of the octopus instead of killing it.
Now you can ask why the father had 11 children, I say if he was educated enough to see a future for him on his own I don%u2019t think he would have had 11 children. Poor families have lots of children because they think their kids take care of them later. Our policy makers should try to target the fundamental problems rather than take other useless actions to fight terrorism
