Can a Committe of blind stooges analyse the Hyde Act?

May be, they thought, after all,it is a 'hide act'!What harm can happen if 'blind' stooges are appointed to study it?Unfortunately, our political masters are playing with the nation's self-respect,sovereignty,security and even its very integritiy. What seems to matter most to MMS is his credibility with Bush;his name being inscribed in the annals of 'history',etc, etc. But what would it cost the nation in terms of merely money?May be 2 to 3 lakh crore rupees of investment to 'take advantage' of the deal with US to generate 30-40K MW of power to be supplied to the public at about 5-8 rupees per unit(kWh),so that our economy continues to be a high energy-cost economy vis-a-vis US,Germany,China,USSR,etc, where it is only 1-4 rupees per unit! That is our 'plan' for energy security for this impoverished country! That is how we will compete in the new globalised world order! After all with very low wages we have unjustifiably too much of competitive edge, which we would like to moderate with suitable handicap-high energy costs (akin to fighting your opponent with one hand tied to the back!In this complex world we need a multi-pronged analytical approached to correctly assess all possible future scenarios to take a truly well thought out decision before signing deals such as the 123-Agreement.Just setting up a committee of "only Cong-Left parties" as announced by Pranab Mukherji will only lead to defrauding the nation. But that is the only thing that can be expected of this govt.
