The nuclear Deal
by Avais Ansari on Aug 30, 2007 11:16 AM

I think that India needs to go on and sign and operationalise the nuclear agreement. This will help it sufficiently meet the power requirements which are the ultimate key to any nations success. Today we have more demand of electricity than we can generate. Why dont people think that until and unless we become self sufficient in these areas, we cannot progress. What are the left parties upto.. they still are having the same stone age mentality.. wherever they are in power, the industries are suffering because of their policies. I think it is in the nations interest to go ahead with the deal. All Indians should vote for this and make the deal a possibility. There is no harm in this and also, India would join a select club of such nations who would be recognised as a nuclear super power. Come on Indians.. let us march ahead.
