Do you really think it is because of the western influence? No, the petty politics at the grass root level is the real culprit. There are enough avenues available. And these handful of people are really difficult for us to tackle.

No, Nil, generation from Solar, Wind, etc. are neither economical and nor practical at present context to generate in large quantity. We have to have a big land area to install these. Its upkeep is a problem as well. Definitely, it is not easy either. Yes, we can have a sizable number of these micro units. Who are going to produce so many of them? And massive subsidy attached with it will go into drain for sure. But let it be. Let us have at least increased presence of these non conventional sources of energy, in the length and breadth of the country.
