TV Channels Corrupting Keralites During Onam
by G Kalyan Kumar on Aug 28, 2007 08:32 AM

The Television channels in Kerala is corrupting young Keralites. The channels are filled with filmi-programmes sending a subtle message like Tamilians; movies, movie artistes and mimicry artistes are the cultural ambassadors of Keralites. The Onam message of harmony, caring togetherness, sharing of joy among family members, neighbours, friends are sidetracked. Kerala requires a new movement to save the state from third rate movie makers and their patrons in channel offices all gloating under the philosphy--Money By Any Means.
