Are you forgetting our religious rigt (BJP) also opposed the nuclear deal? Anyway it is a good thing that India's friendship with US is growing. Us has an inherent dislike for Nazi-like racist ideologies and extremism (of all variety and religion). The new friendship will eliminate the already marginalized religious extremists.
