Though I am no friend of leftists, the arrogant behaviour of Dr. Singh in first hiding the details from public and later in throwing a red rag to fundamentalists like Karat is a typical behaviour of a politician who has something to hide. I suspect, manmohan singh has calculated on public sympathy and not on the scrutiny of the deal that might follow.
