Hi Ek Hindustani, Yes, both Hindus and Muslims were killed. But, how interesting that we haven't seen the old city ppl coming out and throwing stones and holding dharnas/strikes like the last time when Mecca Masjid was hit or for that matter whenever income tax officials conduct a raid in an old city neighbourhood?
If patriotism is so important, why have we had a furore about Vande Mataram being anti-islamic since the 1930s with the ridiculous reason that bowing before anyone but Allah is un-islamic?
