Do u people think that people like mahasweta and other so called "intellectuals" are doing all this for the concerned people? Do u think that the farmers will die if Singur plant comes up? If yes, then you are living in a fools paradise. And btw, before blaming Buddha, just check the fact that it was he who was approached by PM to resolve the impasse, and it is he who wants development, unlike some senile comrades like subhash chakravarty.
