i believe by punishing high profile ppl like salman it will help set the rules right. ppl shud be made to realize that law breaking cant always go "un-punished". By doing so, middle class ppl who think they can get away with bribing or "chai-pani" will always have a fear in their mind that it just might not work. This very fear will help ppl to maintain law and order.
