Manmohan Singh needs to come out loud and clear for all of India to hear that NSG & IAEA does not mean the US alone, it is rather a group of countries. India can pick and choose whom to engage among the NSG, which is not going to be dictated by the US, but by India's commercial, economical and strategic needs. Yes the US has a major say in these agencies, but don't discount the fact the other countries include Russia among others, which has kept it nuclear supplies to India till recently going in spite of objection from all quarters. So Left objection to engaging with NSG countries to clear the way for technology & fuel supplies is absolutely against India's interests.
Mr. Manmohan Singh should address nation on TV and in rallies across the country to build public opinion against obstructive ways of the Left & the Right. And if need be call for a referendum on this issue.
