Our policy makers made blunders and missed several opportunities. When japanies economy is in trouble and seeking help from else where we could have taken several collobarations and made our manufacturing base a qualitative one and could have adopted good work culture. when Russian economy was in trouble and Russian scientists were not even paid salaries, we could have utilised the opportunity and pumped money and could have got good defence and space collaborations in high tech areas. we are missing all the opportunities because of our Politicians and short sighted policy makers. At least we open our eyes and capture the opportunities. It is not too late to realise this mistake and plan for energy security. K.Venkateswara Rao.
