I am one of the few guy who know little bit of electronic & electric stuffs among those people who thinks even ear phone plug has some electronics inside it. I am not telling I am superior, but tell the facts about some commenting about Solar & Wind Mills & their generation. Solar is good for display signs in roads & for some traffic lights in remote areas. Wind mills to get 100 MW, we have to put how many acres & depend on seasons like farmers for wind & we cannot put all the places.
Most of the Tamil Nadu high wind places were already occupied for your information.
