Dear Friends,Nuke deal seems to be very profitable to politicians and bureaucrats. During Enron period then CM of Maharashtra, Mr.Sharad Power potrayed picture of electricity scarcity in coming days and convinced need for such project named as Dabhol power project. Opposition that time cried foul and wage to throw the project in Arabian sea when it would come to power. Opposition came into power but instead of throwing it in Arebian sea Mr.Bal Thakre shook hand with Ms.Rebecca Mark, CEO of Enron and the project was continued. The cost to get electricity from Dabhole project was Rs.3.5 per unit whereas electricity board was supplying it for Rs.1.5 per unit. Thus the bargain was not profitable for common people but it was very profitable to Sharad Pawar and Bal Thakre. Similar is the situation for nuke deal, PM is protraying need of nuke deal citing scarcity of power in near future. Just guess who will loose and who will gain at the cost of country's sovereignity.
