US has to wail for at least another year before it can think of the signing of the 123 Deal. It will be another government that will deal with it, not the present one.
The equation right now is simple. Left has to stick to its demand. And rightly so, this government would nor, or rather, can not bulge for the stance taken. And the prestige at stake of both the parties will certainly bring down the government.
The completion of the General Election following these development, would certainly have a government, be it Congress or be it BJP, with not much influence of the left. Obviously. And the basic logic will bring the then government to the table.
After all the 123 Deal itself will have some positive impact on our energy front. The scenario will be difficult to manage even after setting up of a half a dozen of these reactors. Hopefully we would be able to have a prototype of the indigenous three stage reactors ready in next five years. And with some luck, we shall be having two small reactors ready by next ten years.
