what shame. I think Aziz and rediff are correct. If you make a statement stand by it and take responsibility. This off record, background etc are not correct at this level. Ambasodor has convereted a conversation as "off the record conversation" if it were understood that the conversation was indeed "off the record" at the outset then let rediff apologise or let the ambasador sue rediff. This selective acceptance of converstation is not acceptable.
